Retableur and retailleur reed

The kit size of reed Vandoren is composed of a retableur and a retailleur. Both are glass-abrasive, washable and virtually wear-free.
The retableur allows you to correct the flat part of the reed (table), which has been distorted by the variations in humidity as well as the natural deformation of the reed, and to give back to the reed in its original table.
The retailleur allows for him a custom facial retouch of the reed.

It will allow you to improve, to correct your reeds. The retailleur is inspired by the horsetail, but with a grain more regular.
These tools do not have the pretension to transform a bad reed in a good, but they will allow you, with a little experience, both to enhance some of your reeds, but also to prolong their life-time, delivering value fast enough your purchase.
