  The design of these reeds allows to obtain an extremely pure thanks to the combination of 2 factors: one end is very thin of the reed ( where the area of vibration is a maximum), a spine important (more wood gradually to the heel). These reeds are recognizable by a horizontal line which delimits the area of scratching on the bark.
