The bec A45 Vandoren series Java has opening intermediate between the A8 and A9 series V16 but with a sound Java.
The series of spout JAVA hard rubber is suitable for jazz, soul and funk, because its design is similar to that of the spout metal, but more comfortable due to the ebonite.
The bec A45 Java Vandoren is open and has a table medium long (220mm).

The bec A45 Vandoren Java ebonite designed by Vandoren is done with machines digital tools guaranteeing the adherence to dimensions and specifications set by Vandoren.
Each nozzle undergoes meticulous quality control. The brilliance of the spout is obtained by polishing.
The cutting table is carried out with tools to the diamond with an accuracy of 1/100 mm. Only the table is not polished to preserve the precision.
Finally, the finishing and the control of each nozzle is done by hand (ceiling, rails, and facet). A final polishing removes any mark.
Vandoren recommends the use of reeds:
Vandoren Traditional : 2 -> 3
Vandoren V12 : 2.5 -> 3
Vandoren Java RedCut: 2.5 -> 3.5
Vandoren Java : 2.5 -> 3.5
Vandoren V16 : 2.5 -> 3
Vandoren ZZ : 2.5 -> 3.5
