The mouthpieces Vandoren are a safe bet and very popular.
The 5JB is the oci jazz, very open (147mm) and a long table, the oci has been able to convince most of the clarinetists in jazz.
The Profile 88 has an angle of chin guard lower compared to the beak of the series Traditional. The beak chin Profile 88 in ebonite designed by Vandoren is done with machines digital tools guaranteeing the adherence to dimensions and specifications set by Vandoren.

Each nozzle undergoes meticulous quality control. The brilliance of the spout is obtained by polishing.
The cutting table is carried out with tools to the diamond with an accuracy of 1/100 mm. Only the table is not polished to preserve the precision.
Finally, the finishing and the control of each nozzle is done by hand (ceiling, rails, and facet). A final polishing removes any mark.
Vandoren recommends the use of reeds:
- Vandoren traditional 1,5 - 2
- Vandoren V12 2.5
- Vandoren 56 rue Lepic 2.5
